Rio Grande Steel Ltd’s commercial rebar department is headed by Pete Cruz, Jr. Mr. Cruz has over 35 years of estimating and detailing experience in the reinforcing steel industry. Mr. Cruz will provide you with an accurate estimate and/or placement details to ensure your project is done accurately and efficiently.

Customer Support...
The commercial rebar department consists of two divisions, estimating and detailing. The estimating division is responsible for working up estimates for upcoming projects and supplying customers with competitive pricing. The detailing division provides existing customers the information needed to install and properly place rebar at ongoing projects.

Fabrication...
Rio Grande Steel Ltd’s fabrication shop is equipped with the most current technology in rebar shears, table benders and automated rebar benders. This machinery combined with our experienced fab shop workers makes Rio Grande Steel, Ltd. the preferred fabricator for any job whether large or small. Quick turn around time and prompt delivery helps make Rio Grande Steel Ltd. the first choice for contractors.

Rebar Placing...
Rio Grande Steel Ltd. also offers its customers a rebar placing service. Its steel tying crew will go to jobsites and tie and/or place your rebar in its proper location, minimizing shortages or errors. Just like its estimating, detailing and fabrication services, no job is too large four the placing team. When time and quality is a factor, rely on Rio Grande Rebar Placing to do your job and to it RIGHT!!!

Concrete Accessories...
Rio Grande Steel Ltd also carries a full line of concrete and construction related products. Its 3 locations are fully stocked with any concrete specialty item any project may require. Qualified dispatchers will schedule and coordinate concrete related product deliveries with steel deliveries. Its concrete accessories department carries approximately 3,000 different products, from general supplies to specialty items.

Service Center...
Its service center consists of all sizes of flat plate, angle, tubing, channels, beams, expanded metal, floor plate, r panel, and purling. It also handles light fabrication, such as base plates with nelson studs, pipe bollards and metal buildings of all sizes.
